Dumpster Design in the Shops!
Excited to say that you can now see Dumpster Design in the shops! Local charity Community Fusion have opened a new little shop on Elm Grove in Portsmouth, and as we have now officially been made a 'Friend of Fusion' our work is on display. We will also be doing some workshops with local volunteers to show our support within the creative community! Pop down and see the dresses! CEO of Community Fusion, Jenna, wore a Dumpster Design dress for the shop launch and she looked fabulous as ever....
We are back! After a little hiatus learning and discovering new design techniques, new skills and creative processes we are now back to do what we do best! Dumpster Design for Veolia
Veolia is helping to turn the circular economy into a reality by transforming trashcan to catwalk to create a stunning new dress from five huge sacks of around 50 recycled aluminum cans, 30 plastic bottles, 10 newspapers, 10 cardboard boxes and 50 tins.The company teamed up with Brighton Fashion Week to sponsor the ‘Sustain Show’ and make the dress which took 72 hours to create and is made entirely out of recyclable materials collected from the local Hollingdean Materials Recover....
